Why this landed in your inbox

Peggy O'Brien at the Rio Grande Council of Governments asked for a short description of this to share with you. Nothing here has been built for Presidio, Big Bend Telecom, or Big Bend Regional Medical Center.

A WhatsApp line people can message in English or Spanish, with a person able to step in at any moment.

DropDev runs this today for organizations in El Paso. The AI answers routine questions in the language the person wrote in. When a staff member joins the thread, the AI stops until they are done. Staff see every conversation.

Tap a question and watch a person take over

Tap a question in English or in Spanish. On the second one, watch what happens when a staff member joins.

Every tap on the left moves a counter here. No form, no survey.

A scripted illustration, not a live system. The three counts are what the system records on its own.

Where it has been used

Client outreach on WhatsApp, SMS and Instagram in El Paso, and a four-session workshop series this year where students messaged a bilingual AI teaching assistant between classes. In both, the system recorded how much people engaged, in which language, and whether a person was needed, without a survey.

The next step is a conversation

Nothing to sign. A short call with Peggy, whoever is right on your side, and David, to see whether there is anything here worth trying.
